Do erectile gummies work?
A gummy format does not establish that a product treats ED. NIH NCCIH finds no complementary health approach established as safe and effective for ED, and says herbal research is limited. That does not support choosing a “best ED gummy” from supplement advertising.
If you want ED treatment, start with a provider assessment. Use the tables below to identify what an ad is selling, then bring the product label and your medication list to your visit. For the broader supplement category, see supplements for ED.
What is in an ED gummy? Check its category
Separate supplement gummies, compounded prescription chews and products with undeclared drugs. The last category is an FDA finding about specific products, not a claim about every gummy.
| Type | What it contains | FDA status | Check the source |
|---|---|---|---|
| OTC supplement gummy | Ingredients listed on its Supplement Facts panel; do not assume a brand’s formula | Supplements are not approved for safety and effectiveness before sale | FDA dietary supplement guidance |
| Compounded prescription chew | Sildenafil or tadalafil; prescription required (Viagra (sildenafil) label; Cialis (tadalafil) label) | Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved | BlueChew: prescription and compounding disclosures |
| Product with undeclared drugs | FDA found tadalafil in Rhino 69 Gummy (FDA: hidden tadalafil) | FDA advises against buying or using the named product | FDA: tadalafil in Rhino 69 Gummy |
Sources: FDA dietary supplement guidance; FDA compounding Q&A; Viagra (sildenafil) label; Cialis (tadalafil) label; FDA: tadalafil in Rhino 69 Gummy. Accessed Oct 31, 2026.
Before buying: look for the product’s exact name, its ingredient panel and who supplies it. Save a photo for the provider. Do not treat “natural” or a celebrity image as a substitute for checking those details.
What each path includes
If your goal is treatment for ED, choose a provider visit as your next step. If your main concern is the format, ask about it during the visit rather than choosing by the word “gummy.”
| Path | What you are choosing | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Supplement gummies | A dietary supplement without FDA approval before sale (FDA dietary supplement guidance) | Read the ingredient panel; check the exact name against FDA notices |
| FDA-approved prescription tablet | Standalone sildenafil or tadalafil when prescribed (Viagra (sildenafil) label; Cialis (tadalafil) label) | Prescription required; discuss your history and current medicines with the prescriber |
| Mendoxa online visit | Independent licensed providers assess suitability for a compounded 3-in-1 rapid-dissolve tablet; not a gummy | Prescription required. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved; the separate ingredient labels do not validate the combination |
Sources: FDA dietary supplement guidance; Viagra (sildenafil) label; Cialis (tadalafil) label; FDA compounding Q&A. Accessed Oct 31, 2026.
A decision guide before your visit
- Looking for the best ED gummies? Start by checking whether the product is a supplement or a prescription medication.
- Prefer a chew or dissolving format? Ask about the sublingual ED tablet and combination ED tablet.
- Already tried a gummy? Have its label ready, along with the names of your other medicines and supplements.
Safety checks before ED medication
- Sildenafil and tadalafil are contraindicated with organic nitrates or riociguat (Viagra (sildenafil) label; Cialis (tadalafil) label).
- An erection lasting more than 4 hours needs immediate medical care (Viagra (sildenafil) label; Cialis (tadalafil) label).
- Stop and seek care for sudden vision loss or sudden decrease or loss of hearing (Viagra (sildenafil) label; Cialis (tadalafil) label).
- Common adverse effects include headache and flushing with sildenafil, and headache, indigestion and back pain with tadalafil (Viagra (sildenafil) label; Cialis (tadalafil) label).
- The APOKYN (apomorphine) label contraindicates use with 5HT3 antagonists such as ondansetron and warns about nausea and fainting.
Do not add another ED medicine to an existing treatment on your own: the Viagra (sildenafil) label and Cialis (tadalafil) label say combinations with other PDE5 inhibitors or ED therapies have not been studied and advise against such use. That includes gummies that may hide tadalafil (FDA: hidden tadalafil). See ED medication and nitrates for more detail.

ED gummies vs Viagra: what the evidence measures
Viagra has placebo-controlled label data; supplement gummies do not have FDA approval for ED. The figures below concern the approved sildenafil tablet in the Viagra (sildenafil) label, not gummies or Mendoxa’s compounded combination.
| Product studied | Study context | Reported result |
|---|---|---|
| Viagra (sildenafil) tablets | Four fixed-dose studies; 1,797 patients; 12–24 weeks (Viagra (sildenafil) label) | Improved erections reported by 63%, 74% and 82% across the studied doses, versus 24% with placebo (Viagra (sildenafil) label) |
| Supplement ED gummies | NIH NCCIH reviews complementary approaches for ED | No complementary approach established as safe and effective for ED; no equivalent gummy result established by this source |
Sources: Viagra (sildenafil) label; NIH NCCIH. Accessed Oct 31, 2026.
The outcome was reported improvement in erections, not a promise of success at every attempt. Compare ED medication options with a provider rather than applying these percentages to a different formula.
Tadalafil, Cialis and Viagra gummies: prescription or supplement?
Check the actual product, not the familiar drug name in an ad. The Viagra (sildenafil) label and Cialis (tadalafil) label describe prescription tablets. A compounded chew is a different formulation and is not FDA-approved.
BlueChew’s own disclosures, for example, identify compounded products and make prescribing conditional on a licensed provider’s assessment. Our BlueChew review covers that service separately.
If swallowing a tablet is your concern, use the visit to discuss the format. Our liquid tadalafil guide explains another format to ask about; a different format alone does not establish FDA approval.
Boner Bears: seller ingredients and separate FDA notices
The seller’s gummy ingredient list is verifiable. Got Boner Bears lists corn syrup, sugar, pectin and other ingredients, plus a proprietary blend of Punica extract, Uncaria extract, L-arginine, Epimedium, ashwagandha and Eurycoma longifolia. This is a description of the seller’s list, not evidence of ED effectiveness.
FDA does not approve dietary supplements for safety and effectiveness before sale (FDA supplement guidance). Do not transfer a seller’s claims into an expectation of prescription-like results.
Check the exact format: FDA issued separate notices on February 13, 2026 for Boner Bears Chocolate Bars and Chocolate Syrup containing hidden sildenafil, and on March 30, 2026 for Boner Bears Honey containing hidden sildenafil and tadalafil. FDA advises against buying or using those named products; those notices do not establish the contents of the gummy product.
Start with an online ED assessment
You do not have to try another gummy before discussing ED care. Start your online visit with your health history, medication list and any supplement labels. Independent licensed providers decide whether prescribing is appropriate. Prescription required.
Mendoxa’s compounded 3-in-1 rapid-dissolve tablet contains sildenafil, tadalafil and apomorphine; it is not a gummy and is not FDA-approved. Ingredient references: Viagra (sildenafil) label, Cialis (tadalafil) label and APOKYN (apomorphine) label.
Those labels concern separate products, not this compounded ED combination; the APOKYN (apomorphine) label describes an injectable Parkinson’s treatment. Ask the provider whether a compounded option is appropriate for your needs and how it differs from an approved medication.
Review the Mendoxa options below, then use the online visit to discuss suitability. A prescription depends on the provider’s assessment.
Mendoxa ED plans and prices

FAQ
Do they have gummies for ED?
Supplement gummies are sold for sexual enhancement, but they are not FDA-approved ED treatments (FDA dietary supplement guidance). Prescription chews are a separate category: sildenafil and tadalafil are prescription ingredients (Viagra (sildenafil) label; Cialis (tadalafil) label), and compounded products are not FDA-approved.
Are ED gummies FDA-approved?
Supplement gummies are not FDA-approved ED treatments (FDA dietary supplement guidance). Compounded prescription products are also not FDA-approved; approval of the separate drugs in the Viagra (sildenafil) label and Cialis (tadalafil) label does not establish approval of a gummy or combination.
Did Shark Tank or Dr. Oz endorse ED gummies?
Check the exact ad against the original source. The FTC warns about fabricated Shark Tank endorsements, and PolitiFact found a Dr. Oz gummy ad was false. These sources concern broader product ads and COPD gummies, respectively, not a verified endorsement of an ED gummy.
Does Walmart sell male enhancement gummies?
Walmart marketplace results include male-enhancement gummy listings; availability and sellers can change. A retail listing is not FDA approval for treating ED (FDA dietary supplement guidance). Check the exact product label rather than relying on its search-result title.
Can I make a homemade Viagra?
No homemade recipe is an established substitute for prescription Viagra: sildenafil requires a prescription (Viagra (sildenafil) label), and NIH NCCIH finds no complementary approach established as safe and effective for ED.
What pill keeps you hard the longest?
Tadalafil has an as-needed treatment window of up to 36 hours in the Cialis (tadalafil) label; that does not mean a continuous erection or establish a “longest” option for everyone. Sexual stimulation is still needed (Cialis (tadalafil) label). An erection lasting more than 4 hours needs immediate medical care (Cialis (tadalafil) label).
